The Hart Energy marketing team is looking for a highly motivated Director of Data Marketing, with an entrepreneurial spirit, to lead our go-to-market strategy and execution for our data services division, Rextag.

Hart Energy ranks among the leading providers of news, data, and events for the global energy industry. We have produced some of the most highly attended and broadly acclaimed industry conferences and exhibitions.

The Director of Data Marketing is responsible for the development and execution of digital-based customer acquisition and retention programs, campaigns for driving increased subscription revenue, and audience growth for Rextag. Rextag is a map-based energy asset intelligence platform, providing visual access to data associated with energy resources and infrastructure, from oil and gas wells to renewable resources. This role reports to the Vice President of Marketing.

We are looking for:

  • Ability to travel to Hart Energy and other tradeshow events
  • Works closely with sales to develop and execute integrated demand generation programs that support sales enablement and pipeline growth
  • Aggressive, highly motivated, and organized
  • Utilizes marketing automation tools, CRM and data analysis to bring scale to demand generation programs
  • 5+ years in marketing - preferably for energy, oil and gas, or enterprise platform marketing
  • Excellent organizational and planning skills; be able to anticipate needs and problems ahead of time
  • Optimize the lead-to-customer conversion rate throughout all marketing touchpoints
  • Ability to work on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Communication skills: able to communicate effectively with management.

  • Integrated Marketing Campaign Design
  • Copywriting

Preferred Skills & Qualifications:

  • Marketo or HubSpot Certified Associate
  • Google Ads Certification
  • Google Analytics Certification
  • 3-5 years marketing copywriting experience
  • Basic HTML/CSS competency
  • Degree in business, marketing, or related field or relevant experience
